Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and analysis of storm drainage features and related infrastructure.

• Support the preparation of drawings, plans, and specifications.

• Perform basic hydrologic and hydraulic calculations and modeling under direct supervision.

• Aid in the development of project documentation and technical reports.

• Communicate with team members to ensure alignment on project tasks and deadlines.

• Learn and apply company and industry standards, codes, and regulations.

• Support project work by organizing and maintaining project files and data.

Requirements

• Understanding of hydrologic and hydraulic principles.

• 0-5 years (ideally 1-3 years) of experience of water resources experience.

• Basic proficiency with engineering design software (e.g., MicroStation, AutoCAD).

• Eagerness to learn and develop problem-solving skills.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.

Location

We believe that competent and motivated individuals can work anywhere there is an internet connection. While being based in the Raleigh/Durham area is preferred, we are open to considering fully remote opportunities.
